Spent a year seeing if Mastodon would fill the hole left by the murder of Twitter. It didn't. Seems like there are more people here.
My suggestion? Stick with the Chemex, and engage in some process analysis to figure out how you keep breaking it. A few small changes to your service layout (minimizing movements, centralizing equipment, maybe getting a plastic grate for the bottom of your sink) could fix the problem!

Oh, it’s very real. There’s one company in particular based in Los Angeles County, that I was considering buying a grinder from. Their insistence on app everything gave me the ick. I ended up finding completely low-tech and appless coffee devices.
