:) That's why I'm always happy to add "could be wrong" to these lovely things. Tolls was silly, but an accounting adjustment is nothing to make hay about.

My reading (could be wrong) is that the long-term care beds - and bridge toll removal - added to the debt, not the current year deficit.

100% agree. And there is no other way this could or should have gone - I just hate it when people who do this sort of thing get exactly what they are looking for. Like you said it all just sucks.

My only concern (I’m overly cynical as I get older) is that this was orchestrated to generate a reaction that feeds the victim narrative they thrive on. That said, even the people in my family who would usually be the most ardent supporters of this crap seem to want to distance themselves from this

I kept my account (so I wouldn't be impersonated because of how popular and well-known I am ;)), but deleted all my past posts and unfollowed everyone. Haven't peeked at the site in months.

If having two accounts is just as easy, it would be slightly less clutter on most days. I just scroll past if not looking for the details though so I don’t have strong opinions :)
