Tech execs could teach a masterclass on weak writing. It’s not enough to call an operating system powerful; instead, they have to say it’s “stunningly powerful.” Stunningly replaces shockingly as the adverb that only techies use. “Magical” has yet to be dethroned by another meaningless adjective

Last of Us Season 2 is some of the best television to air since Breaking Bad. Just phenomenal. We’re only on episode 2 and the show has already exceeded the game in terms of storytelling.

Well, that was definitely the weakest season of White Lotus. The next (and hopefully final) season should be about the PR team for the hotel franchise.

Given recent events, now is the best time to watch Princess Mononoke remastered in 4K on IMAX. Saw it last night and it was absolutely stunning even though I’d seen the movie at least a dozen times.
