Yes, agree that connection and belonging is vital for any child though it's not ideal if the internet is the only place available to find it.
Regulation of algorithms is definitely the route we need to start down but the techligarcs will fight that every step without any hindrance from morality.

I always feel like any social media account should be verified to the users real identity but I guess that'd be impossible and pretty sure the social networks would collapse without their population of bots n trolls.
