Raised on cold floors, crack summers,
side-eyes and sirens in borrowed rooms.
Southside called me back —
bricks hot, dreams louder than bullets.
Wore the cloth, crossed oceans.
Vegas heat, Japan rain, island light.
Still hum hood hymns
wherever I stand.
Oh, I feel you.
No question in the heart, just a whisper in the fists.
The only real problem? Which chapter of madness to begin with. Because every Yakuza is a sermon.

A knife fight followed by karaoke.
Grief in a graveyard, then a chicken runs for office. You cradle a dying friend, then help a man heal in a diaper. It fits, because Yakuza knows what life knows:
One day’s heartbreak.
Next, absurd joy.
You don’t control it.
You just show up.

Virtua Fighter 2, No fireballs, no flash just a rhythm you had to feel.
Jacky danced with steel in his fists, Pai moved like water learned to walk.
We learned timing, grace, patience on a screen, in our rooms, alone but alive.
Before the world taught us to fight, this game taught us how.

SOCOM needs a reboot, not a reskin of Call of Duty.
I don’t want to “slide-cancel” into a frag grenade. I want comms discipline, breach plans, and a guy yelling “CLEAR!” who actually clears the room. Give me fireteam tactics. Reboot it like it’s a black ops mission, strategy over spray.

Right? That one break in his voice said more than any cutscene ever could. You could feel all the regret, duty, and resolve packed into that one moment. Mordin didn’t just go out heroic, he meant it. Just incredible voice acting, and honestly, such a damn good game.

“I made a mistake.”
He knew the genophage had to be cured, and he knew it had to be him. That climb up the tower… the music… his last words… and that final, quiet line:
“I am the very model of a scientist salarian…”
Still one of the hardest-hitting deaths in gaming.

One of the most emotional moments I’ve ever had in a game was in Shenmue. That opening scene—Ryo running into the dojo, his father on the ground, Lan Di standing over him… the rain, the music, the final words: “Keep friends… those you love… close to you.” That wasn’t just a plot—it hurt. Still does.

Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future was one wild game. One minute you’re exploring tide pools, the next you’re being hunted by biomechanical monsters where dolphins are the last hope of Earth. And the crazy part? It still felt natural.
