As an example: here is me inducing the error 3 times and moving the @FreeCAD window between my monitors showing the different placement of the error each time.

Is it possible to dock or otherwise reposition the notification window in @FreeCAD ?

The control panel user interface in freecad, the notification area tab is highlighted to show its settings. There are a variety of settings in the form of labeled checkboxes and input fields. These allow disabling or modifying the settings for the notification window and what is displayed there, but other an input field for the width of the notification window there are not settings guiding placement or location.

My kids decided that this die has mystical fortune telling abilities and have been asking it to prognosticate.

Went to go wire up my doorbell after removing my doorbell camera and found that this transformer was unloaded but somehow also hot to the touch at 140F/60C

That didn’t seem reasonable so I replaced it with a new one…

An old 10V 5VA doorbell transformer mounted to a round electrical box cover. The neutral and hot leads come out the back and rest on the stone countertop. There is no ground wire to be seen as it does not exist.

Wanted to get the water off the parts so the next jar was 99% IPA

That also went smoothly and the IPA looked just as it did at the beginning.

I took the parts out and placed them on paper to dry briefly then back to the tray to await assembly.

The DI water was another story.

Completely clouded. I couldn’t see a thing to remove the parts and had to fumble around and strain the DI water through cheese cloth.

I really need to count how many parts go in the bath, and I need to work on a basket for inserting and removing them.

Yuck. A 250ml wide mouth mason jar with completely cloudy water. Hazy shadows of what are probably watch parts are seen at the bottom.

Disassembly was pretty easy. I was a little more nimble with the tweezers than I anticipated and the set of Kong Yuen screwdrivers I bought held the screws nicely and pivoted smoothly and easily.

I got everything separated into compartments and ready for cleaning.

The same st36 movement as before in the same vise. The movement is now mostly stripped with very little still on it. But the pallet fork and pallet fork bridge remain. The blue varnished screws of the pallet fork bridge are removed and sit atop the bridge. The entire st36 movement stripped down and placed into a 3d printed tray. The only things remaining assembled are the mainspring barrel (I have no winders and it’s new) and the balance because i could never reassemble that hairspring.
