Jar jar would have been amazing, IF the sith-in-waiting fan theory had turned out true. GL just wasn't that good a storyteller.

Only anecdotal, but look at ticket number in a tourist place like Las Vegas. I've heard headliners talk about average attendance dropping ~20% since the Dumpster took office
