I feel like this is where the expectation that a women should change her whole persona to cater to (or “compliment”) a man comes from. That’s why they still expect you to “behave” around rich men.

And it’s the fact that I can be 100% many women somewhere in Africa have done more than 1 week of fasting and prayer to get a husband that’s really appalling to me. Dry fasting even 😭😭
