Both a lefty and a leftist. Part time kitchen wizard.
Josh Barro is not a serious person, and the fact he has to keep telling the world that he is makes it all the more less so.

I recall the many times when he hosted Left, Right and Center that he would soberly agree that yes, he didn’t have the right to marry as marriage was between a man and a woman

She specifically said it was sincere.

It can be true that Maduro is an autocrat and also true that Machado is a figure that also should not have been awarded it.

Marco Rubio nominated her for it in the first place because he has wanted to install a US backed government in Venezuela for decades at this point.

Three decades of promising to codify abortion, passed marriage equality only after it was ruled on, signed legislation to block funding for trans children of people in the military, adopted republican immigration policy.

“Largely for rights” could medal at the Olympics with that kind of lifting.

My personal opinion is that all of those reasons were excuses and the normalisation of relations with Iran is something Israel didn’t want and we all have seen the lengths Biden will go to over his Zionist ideals. He’s been very clear.

Cuba normalisation was immensely popular for Obama too.

Two weeks after Biden won Iran reached out to him to say they would be willing to return to the JCPOA with just European nations after sanctions were dropped.

Biden left them on read for a year, then claimed he was for it but he wanted concessions from Iran for an agreement his country broke.

At least Kirk was very clear about how he felt regarding people making choices about other people’s bodies.

Arab and Muslim Americans were a voting bloc in the low to mid 80s for Democrats following Republicans alienating them post 2001.

Biden was willing to burn that to the ground to support Israel.

Perhaps they’re the ones seeing the horror clearly and you’re the one who is afar making judgements.

Dogg, Biden was underwater in his approval ratings before he started helping Israel genocide the Palestinian people.

75% of people felt he was too old for the job, he named an economic platform that was also underwater after himself.

Genocide Joe was just the final nail in his political coffin.

By setting this up they are literally putting trans rights up for debate.

They’re constantly riding Andy Bashear’s dick and he won with full throated support of trans rights.

You are upset that Reuters is reporting on Israel bombing a hospital multiple times which killed one Reuters journalist and wounded another?

This response is frankly unhinged.

In fact the IPC report that dropped yesterday recognising famine in Gaza City specifically says that areas outside are as bad or worse but observers were unable to assess due to danger.

The greatest crime you can commit is being right too early.

I point to this, where people were protesting for civil rights peacefully and public opinion on MLK and the movement kept getting worse.

Right up until his assassination and the riots. Then opinion flips.
Protests Seen as Harming Civil Rights Movement in the '60s
Martin Luther King Jr. advocated nonviolent tactics to advance civil rights. But in the early 1960s, Americans viewed these tactics differently.

It didn’t help that Biden was undermining Harris’ candidacy to try and keep himself in the running. His aides were actively telling press and donors that she would be a disaster.

Biden aides argued dropping out would bring ‘mistake’ of Harris, book claims
Top aides ‘aggressively’ made case to Democratic donors last summer, according to account of 2024 campaign by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes

A: Big Gretch, Pritzger, Warnock.

B: This is some rather vague language. The point of a primary is to have candidates elevate themselves, I can’t provide you proof from a reality I wasn’t from. I could give you reasons each might have performed better, but again, counterfactual.

Harrison Ford will always be Indiana Jones to me when I look at him.

Non-Raiders I’d have to go with the Fugitive. Incredible pacing, mystery and an excellent antagonist in Tommy Lee Jones.

We’ve been having a discussion, I’ve given you my reasoning. I think the closest I’ve come is contrasting if your primary vote was more important than stopping fascism.

Caught? No, I think a number of people just assumed.

Welcome to the internet.

Other countries exist.

I’m well aware of that.

Reuters has it listed as $95m in the campaign’s accounts at the time of the handover.

The campaign would spend $1.5b in three months and kept releasing reports of how it was massively outspending the Trump campaign.

I’ve already said it was an argument in Harris’ direction

And again, yes.

The US government impacts other countries around the world, and frankly your presidential news cycles are unavoidable so yes, I have an opinion so I stay politically informed.

I also have friends in the US I would like to not be at risk from a fascist government.
