(he/him) Tired, Lefty, Ally, Husband to an amazing woman, Geek.
I think it's just that you enjoy watching people enjoying themselves. Matthew Lillard chews the scenery with gusto and joy in that movie and it's fun to watch.

New ally being the rogue from the previous session not the FG. Anyway, left town after picking up our Auction winnings and spent two days on the road with Denadan pilgrims (glad I bought a horse) and met up with our Fighter companion Jay after she left treatment early. Stubborn as a Camel.

Very difficult to break what is essentially putty after the Djinn was riding it around for months so recovered and used the distraction of undead bears breaking out of the ship to escape the docks and get the FG to safety. Further shenanigans when our new "ally" tried to gas us in our room to rob us

Absolutely, all players are important but that's something players also need to recognise. The best games are where it's not the GM providing the enjoyment but the other players within the framework provided by the GM and you don't get that when other players are only there for themselves.

My LARP career was playing secondary characters, my opinion is that if everyone, especially people with main character syndrome thought a little more about how to lift others up it would be a much better game.

Additional shenanigans involve a potential new ally (or old one in disguise) who took advantage of the alarm to nick scrolls from the auction and then helped out in the fight before vanishing into the foggy night. Very cool, but also less than 100% helpful as we now need to board a drifting ship.

Completely un-fact checked but I saw a post suggesting that Bubba was Ghislaine Maxwell's horse.

Not sure that was a Forces kids thing as we had that at school in Somerset where the closest thing to an IRA target was a Cider Farm which to be fair could have been disastrous for local morale as people might have sobered up for 5 minutes before realising there were 3 more in staggering distance.

Yeah, anything clever seems to get canned. Although in a lovely exception to prove the rule Dept Q got a 2nd season, not Nicola Walker but Scottish Scandi Noir detective drama which is well worth a punt.

If you haven't already can I recommend River and Annika as TV series worth a watch as they both star Nicola Walker, also the Lovecraft Investigations on BBC Sounds. Nicola Walker is in it but in supporting role. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/serie...

Makes you wonder how badly Cleopatra fucked up in order to have her soul split into 100,000 gullible twats.

The Bonebreakers (Dwarven company I'd invested in) to the rescue. Released without charge and our Cleric arrived from Barrett. Needlefinger is a cursed hag (recall the hot snake injections) and Jay needs to go to the Moontide Elves for treatment so it's me and the Cleric for the next few weeks.

Only lemon or cherry flavour ones because they're fruity, Fisherman's friends are fine because they're made of burnt pride flags

Good job my dice came through on the Wis save, between me and the DM no fewer than 14 Nat 1's and a full dice jail this session. Not to mention the fact that the local sheriff decided it was safer to trap us in the cave by cutting the rope ladder. He did say sorry so I might not stab him... much.
