“Icon” is part in an ongoing series of relief cuts about how a symbol/ protoreligion is made. This is around the beginning of the story as our prehistoric protagonist creates a cave painting of the Nautilus found earlier in the timeline.

I just finished my first oil painting class- it was all still life, which in middle-school or high-school I would’ve hated, but honestly now I love!
