As social media gets more wide ranging with multiple accounts I thought it was time I put everything in one place.

Look me up sometime...

30 years ago today the mighty @menswearband released their debut (and incorrectly believed by many to be their only) album “Nuisance”.

What’s your favourite track? Mine is “125 West 3rd Street”.

30 years ago today Dubstar released their debut album “Disgraceful”. The NME and Melody Maker couldn’t agree if they were Britpop or not.

What’s your view?

Happy 30th anniversary to “Angel Interceptor” by Ash. One of the b-sides is a cover of “Gimme Some Truth” which seems fitting as today would’ve been John Lennon’s 85th birthday.

Happy 30th birthday to “Rollercoaster” by Northern Uproar.

Who bought a copy of their debut single?

30 years ago today Marion released what I think is their best single “Let’s All Go Together”. What a guitar riff!

Anyone go to these gigs in the advert or still own the limited edition 7”?

Good shout for the stand-alone single idea, although "Whatever" had been one a few months earlier.

Yeah, Hey Now! has become a bit of a lost gem in the Oasis back catalogue. Barely ever played live by the band and much overshadowed by the huge singles from this album.

30 years ago today The Bluetones released the fantastic single “Bluetonic”.

Single of the week in both the NME and Melody Maker!

Who bought a copy of this?

I’d put SMS as one of my least favourite tracks! One of the theories about the OTT reviews for BHN was the press thought they misinterpreted the feeling in the country with this album.

Happy 30th anniversary to the original release of “Sleeper” the debut single by Audioweb

It was rereleased the following year with more success.

Who’s got this original version?

Britpop lost gem time…

“Get Odd” by Gouge turns 30 years old today.

If you’ve never heard it then look it up somewhere, you’ll probably like it!

Happy 30th birthday to “Fantasy” by The Levellers.

“Lux” by Thurman turns 30 years old today. It’s Britpop by numbers, but quite good fun all the same.

The music press weren’t impressed!

Anyone own a copy?

🚨Huge Britpop anniversary time!🚨

30 years ago today Oasis released their second album, the era defining “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?”

Included here are the surprisingly downbeat reviews by the weekly music press.

What’s your favourite track? “Hey Now” for me.

30 years ago this week we found out about new Oasis bass player, Scott McLeod from The Ya’s Ya’s.

His tenure was very short lived and he’s been a mysterious character ever since, basically disappeared off the face of the earth!

Thanks to Spyke for the heads up. Tomorrow there’s Suede from 1993!

An early live review of Cast from
The Melody Maker 30 years ago this month.

Can we all just take a minute to admire John’s stunning Gibson SG?😍

Mani wasn’t impressed by Britpop (even his mates Oasis!) 30 years ago this week.

He also didn’t like French nuclear testing it seems.

Controversial artwork, great songs!

Happy 30th birthday to the double A side single “Mis-shapes/Sorted For E’s & Whizz” by Pulp.

Which is the better track?
