Oh for sure, I'm not necessarily saying that there aren't other problems with it. It's just that "you shouldn't trust what you read on the internet" is not at all a new phenomenon.

You probably shouldn't immediately trust what comes from a LLM OR what else you read online.

This looks SO GOOD

I like this one!

Lol yes, this. One of my favorite recent arguments is "AI is bad because it gets some things wrong"

As though the internet has been perfectly correct 100% of the time before that 😂

Well there are definitely many times I'd rather do anything else than finish them 😂 but I guess I'm choosing to let the accountability work.

It will be fine! You should do it 😁

Hehe same. I finally posted a thing on Leaflet after we talked about it. So now I get to figure out adding those posts to my blog, too 😂

Gotcha! I wonder if that's something that @leaflet.pub can do 🤔
January 10, 2026 at 8:54 PM
Oooh what do you want it to do? Like for sending email newsletters?

It was definitely worth the effort! We had a big sloping hill and now we have two levels that are way more usable.

Thank you!! It was so much work but I'm so happy with it!

This was a lovely story! Thank you so much for sharing ♥️ I also fumbled my way into dev tools and turns out I love it 😁

If you have RSS and are planning for webhooks I would set up something to post a Bluesky post to your account from your webhook. You don't need to set up a PDS but do need something that is authed to your Bluesky account.

Might be a fun Learn with Jason activity 😉

Yes I am! I've got a blog post on my approach here but my progress stalled a bit over the holidays 😁 it's on my to-do list to get this going again today, though!

Representing groups in ATProto
I wanted to add book clubs to my GoodReads-like app (Collective), but ATProto doesn't have a standard way to handle shared group resources yet. So I'm building opensocial.community—a separate service ...
