Scott Moe just ordered the Willow Lodge shelter in Moose Jaw to move to "protect businesses". Neither the Mayor of Moose Jaw, or the relevant charity organizations were consulted. Moe referred to Moose Jaw's unhoused population as individuals who had "chosen a life of addiction and homelessness".

Due to accelerating climate change, the weather in Saskatchewan has become more severe. This means more drought, more fires and smoke, and less water. Conditions are so bad that our crops are failing. Saskatchewan must develop a comprehensive plan to protect our economy from this emergency.

I am old enough to remember the last time the federal conservatives formed government. Under Harper, they closed 9 veterans affairs offices. He cut VA staff by almost 1000 people. Vets were waiting months for services. This isn't the governance that Canada needs.

Canada needs to be able to feed Canada, and we are on the side of farmers, from farm to factory to fork. The Trump tariffs are putting stress on Saskatchewan farmers. That is why the NDP will work to diversify markets, reducing reliance on the United States.
