Probably a lie and not good enough.
Jail is where they belong.

You know who else say that Europe benefited from its relationship with the US?
Trump.
Magats and tankies are only the different sides of the same coin.
And they both lick Putin’s boots.
January 28, 2026 at 7:58 AM
Didn’t work out so well the end 🤪
And BTW I am not a “lib”
Far from it.
January 28, 2026 at 7:30 AM
😅
January 28, 2026 at 7:23 AM
By the way, Ireland also is in Europe and in the same hemisphere as America. Northern/Southern, Eastern/Western … still the same 😉
January 28, 2026 at 7:14 AM
Oh that’s cute.
I always laugh in Ireland when a guy comes to me with a thick american accent and explains to me that he’s Irish…. And complains because there’s no Coors or Budweiser on tap.
January 28, 2026 at 7:10 AM
With a vassal/lord relationship the beneficiary is always the lord.
It makes sense as the lord is the one who instigates the relationship.
In the end… you think you’re a tankie but you’re still an American imperialist at heart despite your two European flags on your avatar.
January 28, 2026 at 7:02 AM
Even using eastern/western hemisphere (and you know that 99% of people mean North/South when mentioning hemispheres) France, the UK and Spain and Portugal ARE in the same hemisphere as the US 😅
Sorry but it still doesn’t work.
Struggling much ?

January 28, 2026 at 6:45 AM
And your geography :
Since when the US is in a different hemisphere than Europe ? 😅
(« rely on a fellow imperial power in a different hemisphere to protect it »)
January 27, 2026 at 1:38 PM
Now that you have elected fascist imperialists (MAGA) this relationship is bound to end.
January 27, 2026 at 1:29 PM
Besides, the US is the one with the Marshall plan and NATO after WW2 who tried to create a relationship of dependency and vassality for Europe, not the other way around.
Some countries/leaders avoided it like De Gaulle/France.
Know your history.
January 27, 2026 at 1:26 PM
We’re in 2026.
Imperialism today (Trump « president of Venezuela » the US planning to invade Greenland, Canada, Panama...) is clearly American, not European.
Imperialism in 2026 is also Russian (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia...) and Chinese (Taiwan)
Still not European.
January 27, 2026 at 1:20 PM
We’re talking about Europe’s ability to defend itself.
That’s clearly a different subject.
But if you wanna talk about stolen resources and stolen lands... maybe we could talk as well about how Americans have stolen resources from First Nations (native americans) and pretty much genocided them.
January 27, 2026 at 1:06 PM
Sorry, but not the same topic 😉
January 27, 2026 at 10:39 AM
I am aware of this.
However, if the UK is being nuked by another power, the US won’t be able to prevent the UK from replying.
January 27, 2026 at 3:31 AM
The UK controls its nukes.
January 26, 2026 at 9:59 PM
That said, I’m saying this counting on the fact France and the UK would keep the same foreign policy… (like it’s a given)
But France could elect the National Front and the UK could elect Farage (a nightmare)
Being French myself, I will do anything in my power so it doesn’t happen…
January 26, 2026 at 8:28 PM
Europe has nukes.
Enough to erase 500 RussIan cities and strategic targets.
What Europe needs is millions of drones and skilled drones operators and enough factories to supply ammunition for wide and long conflicts.
January 26, 2026 at 5:58 PM
Wrong question.
It is not about if Europe could.
Europe MUST be able to defend itself without the US.
The real question is « how are we going to achieve this, because we have no other choice, and what are the necessary/radical changes to go through to achieve this in the shortest timeframe. »
