I loved the first 3/4ths or even 4/5ths of this, but it differed from too big of a budget. The end was trying too hard to be a super hero movie. Still, Jason Isaacs is always amazing.

While I do love a grand bookstore, there’s something to be said for cozy, hole-in-the-wall bookstores, too. Especially ones that have a distinct niche, like horror or history.

Agreed. It always felt like a consultant-employment program to me — and maybe a budget-boondoggle opportunity — rather than something that added any real value.
