Not sure that the percentages take into account that if it comes down to the Columbus final game versus Ottawa, Ottawa would likely be resting guys. Hopefully Habs just smoke the Hawks.

The American players may feel differently when tariffs impact the growth of the game economically, and the cap fails to reach its projection.

Brian do you think the Habs may decide to stop playing the American anthem, to avoid the booing of it? Perhaps all teams may go this route. I would prefer we just silently sit during their anthem. Then stand and sing ours proudly.

There was a time when Gillette bought the team, that nobody was coming forward to make the purchase. Certainly nobody in Canada. Finances stabilized under Gillette, and have taken off under Molson.

I thought Josh Anderson was terrific night. Lots of energy. When he is using his speed and is physical, his value to the team is enormous.

Interesting thoughts. I don’t see juggling the lines while on the winning streak though. That said I would love to see what Evan’s could do on the second line.
I agree a goalie change in some form seems likely once the freeze occurs.

While you are not wrong, I think in the moment it is easy to be frustrated. It’s tough being positive with this team. But as you say, it was only one bad period, and overall a good homestand.

Teams seem to be playing the pass, as he hasn’t taken the shot on the pp when he has had the chance.

They likely will just take back equal salary if they make a trade. It would also help them get a better pick. Not that they will likely get that much for Dvorak or Armia.

If you go on the Strat site, or the Strat forum web page, they list leagues, and people post if they are looking for members. Some of these leagues use the computer game, so you can literally play from anywhere. Are you in Montreal?

How long have you been playing Strat? A friend of mine was given 1969 cards. So 1970 started my journey.

Thanks for pushing for this Brian. As a Canadian we have little opportunity to actualize our displeasure about what is happening in the States. Moving away from X is a small step in the right direction.

Didn’t We give up on Charlie Lingrighm (sp)? Not that he is a stud, but would certainly help at this point. Anyway, I think the bigger concern is the level of high danger chances allowed. Last game was certainly more on Primeau, but game in game out the team d needs to be much better.

Dobes may deserve a few games. But maybe we just need patience. That said I hope Mailloux is up to start the new year. My only concern about getting Laine back, is I don’t think it will be a veteran sitting in his place.
