I thought this was a wonderful adaptation, with the two leads in particular shining particularly Fiona Shaw. If anything it has made me want to go back to the book.

The Secret Agent was a masterpiece in terms of mixing memory, drama, humanity with heavy doses of humour and hairy legs...I loved it!
