The difference between the two chisels is the steel. Harbor Freight uses a cheaper and pressed steel versus Zen-Wu which uses a titanium steel blend. This allows the Zen-Wu chisel to hold an edge longer, which means less sharpening. They also presharpen and flatten all the chisels before they arrive

Can't disagree at all with you there. I've seen quite a few people do this trick and while it worked, it's definitely not the best. I'm very much still learning and after this experience, I knew I'd rather have a router table of some sort.
