i don't know whether any of these are normal human behaviors or if it's just me in specific but it's been bothering me enough to rant about it online :3

other people make it seem like developing healthy habits and keeping them is easy so maybe it really is just a skill issue idk

learning things the "right" way is extremely difficult when frequent bad moods kick in, so even topics that i'm deeply interested in take MUCH more time to learn, often not fast enough to keep up with my studies, and that problem only gets worse for topics i'm not interested in

i wasn't particularly good at rote learning but it was "effective enough" to get me through high school, until i eventually ran into a brick wall when i enrolled into college because, logically, such a learning approach would never work given the nature and complexity of academia

i sort-of wonder if my learning approach is related to this

throughout my life, in or out of school, unless i was, under very rare circumstances, really interested in the topic, i basically always had to resort to cramming instead of learning the topic the right way

not just that, but when i'm in a bad mood, even basic tasks that i enjoy like games, programming or socializing also become similarly impossible

aside from general "busy-ness", this also plays a major role as to why i sometimes don't respond to people in days >_<

honest to god i'm nothing without my reminders, alarms, and random sticky notes all across my living spaces, otherwise recurring tasks become near impossible to follow, and that's assuming i'm in a good-enough mood to actually follow through with my reminders, alarms and stickies

i'm fully aware the matchmaker tends to immediately start a match as soon as it finds 12 players to put on one server, that's especially evident for the past year or so when they sped-up matchmaking

but it often also used to find new players quickly, or start with +12-24 players

up until the end of halloween, which was when i last played tf2 prior to a few days ago, this sort of issue was pretty rare and almost never happened

and now, ever since i came back to tf2 recently, it has affected the overwhelming majority of the matches i've played

perfect time to post this again (but with 335 people this time lol)

i'm also planning to make a proper showcase/tutorial video soon, to help people download OMSIPresence and to better show what it does :3

the only prerequisite is that the map in question has proper timetable support, as well as the appropriate announcer sound files (ie, wav files for each stop)

it likely won't include a GUI menu like this, but these are some of the options that will be available for end-users :3
