As an avid runner throughout high school and college, running sucks ass. Completing c25k is a badge of honor and shows you have the discipline (and now base fitness!) to do way more fun and sustainable exercise programs

Another thing I think is worth mentioning is how violence becomes alluring to multiple characters as a way to solve their problems or paper over their insecurities as they spiral. Having unfulfilled men pathetically circle the Fight Club drain is definitely doing something

I'm experiencing something like this too. I made real, steady progress and then shit hit the fan (job loss, social isolation). But a therapist I've worked with for 1.5 years talking through it all with me from a "that's fucked up what's going on" POV weirdly meant a lot. I could hold on to that/

I loved aspects of Act 3 (the tone was gut-wrenching, and the Karmelita fight is damn near perfect) but it definitely continued past the point of diminishing returns. Just a bit too much left in the final cut. Still an all-timer.

I adore a boss fight where the boss has some of your moves, so Lace, Phantom, and First Sinner had me hooting and hollering. Also the presentation on the end of the Phantom fight made my jaw drop

Schools in my area are currently making massive cuts, which is leading many (including myself) to leave the profession altogether. It's mostly young teachers too, in a rural area that already has trouble attracting teachers
