I’m that boring one that always tells the truth. I have to; I’m a grandad with Primary MS.
My thoughts this morning are with the family of Chorley Doctor Zak Uddin whose body was found in Saltburn. Many questions are unanswered about his final few months. The World has lost a talented and respected young man ebay.us/m/KZ5Y8U

I tried Chew’s Yard but the only seats were empty bar stools which I can’t get on. The able bodied were all sat on normal seats and not one offered to swop. So, no, won’t be going to Chew’s Yard.

Had a pleasant day in Blackpool. Good lunch at Abingdon Street market. Houndshill Shopping Centre need to do something about the school age boys begging for change outside Primark. Quite a shock with smart dressed boys asking “spare any change, please”.

Waiting for 40 minutes on the phone so tried to make an appointment for me on the NHS App, but my Doctor never has appointments! My 83 year old Mum just fills in the form on her Doctor’s website. I have to do it for her as she doesn’t trust the “Evilternet”.

Sir Keir can save money by passing a law now that states if someone has been diagnosed by two Doctors as “paranoid” then they will be viewed taking their medication and if they don’t they will be imprisoned. I have personal experience of a person who refuses to take medication so just do it, now.

@thetimes.com Not sure which of the nine names wrote the review of Virdee but I have to agree with the article. I don’t do the Times Comment article section anymore as bigots seem to profligate.

Office discourse has led me to discover this 1957 Pathé News footage of people dressed as knights jousting on motor scooters and why isn't this an Olympic sport. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CSv...

Hey, while we're talking about erasing history:

In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.

So they refused to announce a winner🤡

One of the PM’s friends should tell Sir Keir to watch Playing Nice on ITVX. This is what happens if he takes on Mr Musk.
January 5, 2025 at 10:47 PM
Clever Elon Musk. He says something outrageous and the BBC thinks it has to put Nigel Farage on for “balance”. BBC incompetence.

The Colin Firth TV show may be titled A Search for Truth but it can’t escape the lack of hard evidence, writes the former Scotsman editor

Well Lockerbie has to be the most distressing programme I’ve ever seen. Incredibly well made and so upsetting. Man’s inhumanity is beyond comprehension. Well done Sky Atlantic for making this production.

After watching Vera on ITVX it took us to North Shore. A delightful murder mystery in Sydney. The two lead detectives have a rapport after initial hostility, so it’s hardly Moonlighting but North Shore is good telly.

It amuses me that someone on a minor social media platform can get so much publicity for saying absurdly outrageous things. Scandalously it seems that public bodies contribute funds to this social media person by actively using their accounts. If only the BBC, Police and other public bodies stopped.

Missing You on Netflix. Written by Harlan Coben with actors from Slow Horses and it could be called Fargo. Excellent TV drama. Recommended!
