Wheels roll at 6:30 p.m.

Replaced the hinge clamps yesterday.

The Brompton hinge clamp design is intended for the clamp plate to wear instead of the bike's frame, so Brompton recommends replacing both clamps every 8,000 kms or when the gap between the hinge casting and the clamp plate is less than 0.90 mm.

On the morning of Friday, July 11th, a man in his 60s was hit by a dump truck and killed while riding his bike on a painted bike lane. This is the worst nightmare for anyone who tries to get around in this city without a car. 1/4

Today was a fabulous Brompton day with people who are into the ‘fold’ ~ reflecting on 1 person who joined our meetup group called BROMPTON Toronto yet expected speed over social. We don’t leave anyone behind. We take lots of photos of our bikes! We eat slowly. I will amplify this for non-B peeps.
