But what about this?

Early last year, I found a Spanish version of Gene Colan’s Tomb of Dracula Artist’s Edition. I consulted with friends & we came to the conclusion that the original art would be unmarred; the translation would happen at another stage of production.

Nope. Still happy to have it.
La Tumba de Dracula AE cover. I bought this on AbeBooks for $70 shipped. Two page spread before a complete issue; in this case, ToD 46. Pages are red/brown, like dried blood First two pages of ToD 46, showing a mix of original English and overlayed Spanish lettering. From the Gallery section - most pages and covers here are as they were originally created, with no translation.

For the #TeamVeronica crowd. You can have her.

#TeamBetty wins that contest no matter the metrics, 10 out of 10 times.
Betty creates a new dress with her sewing machine and can’t wait to show Veronica. Veronica sees Betty coming, and intentionally squirts black ink all over the new dress.

Double whammy last week: a gal I went to high school with, and a student I had in the mid-90s.

The classmate? I had to ask her name, but then upon hearing it had no other recollection.

Student? When she told me her maiden name, it all flooded back to me. I could “see” her in my classroom.

Indeed!

Best one was when I went to our family doctor to ask about a… rash… and he entered the examining room with a note-taker: a former student (wait!! A female student!) of mine.
