I find it very funny that I said yogurt is not as nice as eggs & people were like, “have you added protein powder to your eggs?” or “try tofu!”

Like yes, that’s it, if I think yogurt’s not as nice as eggs, I’ll definitely prefer yogurt with POWDER added to it!

We also need to work on secure parking options for those who need something more than a bike share bike - cargo bikes enable families to drastically reduce their car usage, but they need them to not get stolen.

Nobody needs to justify their choice to ride an ebike to you. Worry about yourself.

And it’s absolutely easier to carry stuff with the e-assist. The bike Jamelle got is specifically designed for easy cargo carrying, and the battery makes it easier.

Much easier to carry stuff with you on an ebike. Much easier to deal with hills. Arrive at your destination less sweaty. Plenty of reasons the e-assist is the right choice for folks.

I think the real solution is buying egg whites and adding a little of those to my eggs. Downside: doesn’t work for over easy, which is objectively the second tastiest egg preparation.

No, I really dislike protein powder. I sweetened it with honey. It’s fine. I don’t dislike it. It’s just not as nice as eggs!

I’m trying to improve the ratio of my protein:fat consumption, so I had Greek yogurt with berries and nuts for breakfast instead of eggs, and you know what? It’s not as nice.

I don’t think people are actually opposed to that. But as the article points out, not everyone can switch. (My child uses a spacer, which is incompatible with a lower emission inhaler.) The framing is the problem because it just takes the cars as a given, the state of nature.

I’ve seen SO many “mixed bike” couples out and about - one partner on a regular bike, one on an ebike. I love that this technology makes it so people with different physical abilities can ride together.
