A little while later, I'm doing some work at home and get a phone call. It's the pharmacist. My endocrinologist put a special authority on the prescription. It's fully covered. He filled it and it's ready for pickup.

Today I had another rx to fill, so I went in and asked the local pharmacist to transfer my rx from the other pharmacy, but not fill it until I got money on Wednesday. He told me progesterone prices have recently come down. He checks the system. $22 for a month. BONUS!

Then last week, I get an email from him saying "I sent the prescription to [Vancouver pharmacy I was using]". Hooray! Now I just have to wait until I can afford to have my prescription filled! Last time it cost $180 for a 3 month supply (or ~$90-100 per month iirc).
