Condolences. One annoying side effect of this is that students often interpret this as an endorsement of them using AI for their work. I had a student justify her undisclosed AI use by saying she’d used the university sanctioned software 😠

I’ll look for it. In the meantime, there’s a report on the LOC blog about their own experiment using AI for cataloging. Not a clear refutation but it does acknowledge that the tech is not (currently) sufficient.
