Alot of discourse online could be stopped if people had friends in real life.

I've been trying out new black romance authors and one beef I have is random plot twists thrown in at the 11th hour. If you're trying to add some conflict or a backstory for a character there should be some form of introduction of it earlier in the book, not a bomb dropped 3/4th of the way through
