The reason you can't get an appointment is because we are a disgracefully unhealthy nation - caused by Americanisation of our culture, over reliance on cars, ultra processed food, austerity, failure to tax the rich, etc etc. preventable diabetes is a massive drain on the NHS.

Good article, demonstrating how much damage this approach has caused - and continues to cause. However I do take umbrage at the use of "anymore". It's "any more" FFS 😉
