In the middle of rewriting my Z80 driver with the new logic for the Mega Drive I had to undestand how bank switching works to read ROM. "Just a matter of reading the official Sega manual" at least that's what I thought.

...as the first time, l've accidentally scratched my car's door while parking in a slim spot.
Don't get me wrong, that parking space was stupidly small, but it's all on me by just assuming that getting super close to the left sidewalk was enough to clear the space to the right.

Here's one thing that deserves to be told here.
So, one year ago, I started developing my own Z80 audio driver for the Sega Mega Drive, with my own logic designed from scratch. It's supposed to provide smooth 32 kHz audio.
But there was an issue: it wasn't working on real hardware.

I’m in a school trip in Brighton and I have to save lots of pounds to make sure I end up with enough money to buy the second Sonic IDW comic.
I’m reading the first one and it’s already dope. I’ve never been this excited for a comic and I need to get it. A punch in my wallet, sure, but it’s worth it.

The 68k processor is software scaling the image in the X direction and the VDP helps to stretch the image vertically. The 68k processor is doing the rotation on the asteroids also .

My PS2 is broken again. I wanted to replace the disc drive, since the old one wasn't reading discs (even after adjusting the laser pots).
What the new drive only did was to short the chip that drives the spindle motor, because now discs won't spin with three different mechanisms.
