She's all done! I love her so much.

Hot glued the claws, eyes and tusks onto felt that was previously sewn into the faux fur.

I'm debating making her a little something to "wear" with the rental symbol on it, but I'm not sure what yet.

I'm so excited to see this progress. She's too heavy to take easily to a con unless I'm feeling silly but I've dreamed of this prop for ages so I'm super happy to see it happening lol.

Progress on the sandseal.

Those legs took up my entire day between sewing them together and getting them positioned. Now to just sew them to the body.

I'm finally starting my official prop for this- an actual sand seal! She's just a tiny one lol.

Anyway I patterned this via tape and hope; it came out pretty good! The only part I've had to really figure out is the face, since the model I printed was so small lol.

Honestly having them for that as a secondary use as well would be perfect! So that's great to know, thank you.

It would limit my access to tutorials and methods I've saved as well. I guess it may be time to screenshot everything lol.

Apologies for the journal of grouchiness today. Been on my mind for a while and I just need to -splat motion- this out.

But I also hate social media right now. I hate how slow it makes me feel, how unaccomplished. Maybe taking a year and just focusing on building without this frustration would help. Take pics on my own, or try to. Keep photographers in mind if possible.

I find it hard to do shoots in general on our own because of where we live. You want some hills or scrub oak? Sure. You want literally anything else? Good luck, you must travel a minimum of 2-4 hours.

How do people do this part of the hobby lol.

Almost done! Just page painting and weathering left.

Tomorrow there's a semi-local event and another on Sunday. I'm really excited to be in costume for two days lol.

At this point it's mostly funny. Stings for half a second followed immediately by "PFFFFT-"

It was so well done and so dang funny. Husbandit died once or twice because we were too busy giggling or listening to the song.

Everything dealing with Mr Door so far is funny anyway but this was just a treasure.
