If you took the games where the Thunder won by fewer than 10 points and counted them as losses, they would still have a better record than 26 other teams in the NBA and have the 2nd seed in the West.

I'm working on articulating this theory that the Thunder are successful on challenges to overturn fouls called on them at such a high rate that refs are more hesitant to call fouls initially for fear of being shamed when they have it overturned. Does that track?

I've heard for years that no one on the Thunder gets a good whistle because they're all too young and haven't earned their stripes. Now that they get a halfway decent whistle it's only whining. People just don't wanna admit the stripes have been earned.
