I can say with full confidence that nothing made me believe more in comics and criticism as an adult than listening to these dispatches every other week for the past two years. A masterclass in both celebrating and scrutinizing the art you love.

Thank you, you absolute legends, for your service.
I’m as proud of 52 Pickup as anything I’ve done in my life. So grateful to @aftermath.site for taking us along for this ride. We got a lot of you to start reading comics again. The next step is to never stop.
The final episode of @alexjaffe.bsky.social and @xoxogossipgita.bsky.social’s 52 Pickup is now online. insertcredit.podcast.audio/@52pickup/ep...

This show sustained, challenged, and bettered me. It brought me back to comics. It made me a better editor. I’ll always love it. Thank you for listening.

this piece felt too real lol, finally reading someone put the vague sense of disillusionment i felt with broader skate culture in the post-jackass era & the video games it produced into words

I don’t post much on here but this came out today & I’m very proud of it.

Thanks RPS & @edwinet.bsky.social for letting me do this.

Skating, videogames…both things have had a profound impact on how and why I write, so to be able to put this article out in the world means a lot to me.

super grateful I got to put Harper’s essay out.

the original reason I brought back my zine was because I wanted to communicate niche critical studies outside of academia & this piece posed such a fun argument about everyone’s favorite video game wizard.
