The end of the book includes various Bright trivia.

The first is of Bright's early design concept, then named Bright True. It mentions that, in the original series draft, his parents were Side engineers who were killed on a business trip to Side 2. This probably isn't canon anymore though. 5/

One thing I've noticing on the rewatch of 79+Zeta is that Bright does not completely lack emotional intelligence, but he does seem to find expressing concern or kindness to be difficult. Partially because of his position of leadership, but also I just don't think it comes naturally to him
