Slavery has always been legal in the US thanks to the punitive exception in the 13th amendment. Makes you wonder why DHS is building/buying so many warehouses.
I’m reading this book about slavery, how they separated families. And just knowing that Trump reveled in that during his first term and then he was re-elected makes me sick. We just keep going back to the same places as a nation
