Thanks. I didn’t remember where in “Seven Storey Mountain” was the story. I was sure you would know it.
Meanwhile I found a PDF of the book online and it reads: “All I could think of was to go over across Seventh Avenue to the Church ofthe Capuchins, next to the station.” Definitely St. John it is.
