(Very indifferent to sports, but caught the last moments of 1976 triple-overtime Suns/Celtics game ("The Greatest Game Ever Played") being shown on Hilde's parent's TV. If all the games were like that, might rethink my indifference.

What ruined Season 2 of BUCK ROGERS for me was replacing Mel Blanc's gruff voice for Season 1 Twiki (which always sounded like it was telling dirty jokes) with a voice like a Wizard of Oz Munchkin.

"Oh my God!" I reacted at the time. "They castrated Twiki!"

Not able to manage a daily #AScareADay , but when I get a chance I'll be reposting some images I used for a series of "Spooky Booky" posts on my old "GOBI - Great Old Book Illustrations" account on Twitter a few years back.

A group of men in Cavalier-era clothing draw back in horror as one of them lifts the lid from a coffin, and the pale corpse inside sits upright. Behind the men is a stack of other coffins.

Extra was the second of Little Miss's kittens from three weeks ago to pass away. Young kittens are so fragile; sick kittens more fragile still. Tabbi put in a lot of hours and care trying to keep them going.

Perk, the void kitten, seems to be recovering. Moving around well, and nursing normally.
