The Act allows use of military forces domestically when requested by a state, or unilaterally if federal law is being undermined or constitutional rights are threatened and the state fails to protect them.

Treasury said it's considering a $1 Trump coin to mark the nation’s 250th.

A 2020 law authorizes $1 coins for 2026, but says “no head and shoulders portrait or bust” & “no portrait of a living person” may appear on the reverse.

Federal code also limits currency portraits to the deceased.
