Trump doesn’t want input because he knows public doesn’t prioritize benefits for fossil fuel CEOs as he does. Trump & Burgum don’t give a damn about conservation—Drill-Baby-Drill is their MINDLESS message.

Trump wants to end Nat. Evmnt. Policy Act (NEPA) & move any project he wants without public input. The public cares about the evmnt. & consistently provides overwhelming preference for conservation. NEPA requires rigorous environmental impact statements & extensive public input.

Trump destroys Nat. Park Service, then puts face on Park Passes & disallows people from covering over his face with stickers due to their disgust with him—making them buy a new pass.

It’s typical of Burgum’s “team”—BLM officer Karen Budd Falen & husband making big bucks off selling water rights to mining companies. Trump-Burgum’s Interior Admin. is OF OIL, BY OIL, & FOR OIL. www.wildlifepolitics.org/blog

Burgum is “owned” by Harold Hamm, billionaire oilman. BLM may be headed by Steve Pearce—owner of large oil interests. He pledges to sell oil interests but he’s a long-term booster of oil-gas interests—conservation is not part of his resume.

When it comes to endangered species—Burgum & BLM have their priorities straight—out of Donald Trump’s ass—Drill, Baby, Drill—forget about environment or conservation. BLM just removed protections for sage grouse on 50 million acres of fed. public lands across 8 western states.

Trump-Burgum’s Extinction Plan for Sage Grouse: Congress passed bill that prevents Sage Grouse from being listed as endangered despite the number of sage grouse having plummeted by 80% since 1965. Why do this? Because sage grouse critical habitat is a target for oil drilling!

As the Trump Admin.’s incompetent Interior Dept. recommends elimination of protections of gray wolves, evidence shows that wolves help to prevent car crashes that cost far more than $ spent to compensate for lost livestock & pets.

This new definition will mean that 80% or more “wetlands” (under previous definition) will no longer be protected & ignores the fact that these ephemeral streams play a crucial role as ecosystems for many species

Question: What was the worst decision or action taken by Trump II Admin. for conservation? Tough question right?! Too many to select from. One nominee is certainly EPA’s restriction on defining “Waters of the U.S.” to mean “relatively permanent, standing or continuously flowing bodies.”

Trump Admin. in its latest attempt to hasten the extinction of sage grouse removed protections that the Obama Admin. negotiated with industry & evmntal. orgs. How do we know their claims to protect sage grouse are BullSH_T?

Trump-Burgum are continuing to hand over energy superiority to the Chinese—cancelling wind projects with weak excuse of security while at the same time giving Chinese access to the AI chips that Biden kept from them, weakening our advantage over them!
