If you weren't alive in 1969 you have never seen a Democratically controlled government. There's been some level of Republican shit weasel going on since then. The closest was the Congress where the ACA and many other acts protecting most of us took place. Stop thinking they are the same.

He's not right, as I'm sure most the response to your post says. If people 30 years ago could retire at 55 or 60 there's no reason that needs to change except greed and a lack of respect for the generations that came after those. It worked before and if funding wasn't stolen it still would.

That's only true if you are disregarding polling on topics. You are right on that ridiculous voting or no voting got us where we are now...aided by shit Republicans that won't stand up for actual democracy. Doesn't help or change the majority of us hate what's going on.

Yes, the US gun laws are incredibly lax. I say this as a gun owner and military veteran. The second amendment says "a well regulated militia". About time there's some fucking regulation. If they want to put structure on the 14th amendment, about time to do the same to the 2nd.
