4/ In particular, semantic memory (how we process and store meaning) becomes more central in the network, suggesting a shift in how cognitive systems interact.

3/ the team found that people with high beta-amyloid don’t just show lower cognitive performance - their cognitive networks themselves are reorganised.

2/ Using data from 2,800 + participants, the study builds neuropsychological networks to ask: do cognitive systems reorganise in people who are positive for Alzheimer’s biomarkers?
