We have been loving participating in DecemBAR in year 1. Today we used a bar chart to work out how many snowballs Max had after starting with 17 and giving Jo 6, after she had 0 ❄️☃️🌨️ @whiterosesociety.bsky.social

3a had fun testing rocks in science. We made predictions and then carried out 3 different tests to find out more. We put them in water…scratched them and used citric acid on them. We then wrote a conclusion about the results.

Year 3 had the most wonderful time on their trip today. We visited a restaurant owned by parents of a child in our year group. They were so generous and welcoming. Lots of the other restaurants in the indoor market also contributed to the awesome feast of food from around around the world.

3a learning about illustration in picture books. They drew stunning underwater scenes, using ideas from the book we are exploring. We will use these drawings to focus on prepositional noun phrases.

3a had fun using their different food skills and and a range of equipment. The salsa was a huge success. They enjoyed eating it with crunchy and soft tortillas. The smell was delicious.

Year 6 made comparisons between Christianity and Islam, and Abrahmaic and Dharmic religions. Pupils enjoyed sharing their own beliefs and respectfully lisitend to others. As a result, rich discussions and learning occurred. @brunswickparkps.bsky.social
