When I know I'm going to enjoy a book because I've enjoyed everything the author has done before I tend to put them on the back burner for special occasions or when I've just become jaded by a few bad books.

I have Kindle Unlimited and a lot of it's fantasy is badly written rubbish some of it is well written rubbish but now and again you can find a self published absolute gem of a book which is outrageously good.

The good old days Sir Michael when all the girls wore skirts and didn't have testicles boys weren't allowed to wear long trousers until they were 24 and you could give the peasants a damned good thrashing and they would thank you for it.

I do all the cooking in my house except on Christmas day when my wife steps in and is treated like a domestic goddess then it's back to normal boxing day.

We conservatives did Waspi women a great favour knowing they could not bare the injustice of retiring 5yrs earlier than men by equalising the state pension age and then this shambles of a government refuses to pay them billions in compensation for the injustice of being equal.
