What I said 6 months ago. I still think it would be a viable strategy, if there were at least a small caucus of Republicans willing to stand up for the republic.

Well said! This essay addresses vital issues that need to be discussed. I say that as someone who spent my career in international development, mostly in trying to help smallholder farmers have a say in designing and managing irrigation systems to water their crops.
