I used to have sheet music for The Sound of Music growing up. One day my dad asked me what I was playing and I told him, “The Lonely Goatherd”, except I pronounced it GO-TH-ERD. I fully thought a goatherd was a type of hermit who lived in the Swiss Alps. Little did I know I’d grow up to be one.
