They can let homeland security enter a shutdown which stops it from being able to commit the things it currently is doing. Also, why don’t you actually try to make things better by talking about candidates you would support or disowning democrats that have no interest in the common citizen.

Look, I’m not engaging with you again today. This is a disingenuous discussion. You don’t have any want to understand my beliefs or you wouldn’t insult me. I’ve done nothing to deserve your disrespect. They don’t have a super majority. They can block things from being passed and slow the wheel.

I mean low dem turnout means they have to change as a party. As bad as that is what else can I do. I will vote in primary, but after that. I will not support the current status quo. It is just going to keep getting worse.

Buddy I currently have no idea who to vote for. We are still unsure how the landscape will look in 2028z I recommend staying away from Newsome at all costs.

Good point. I also would like to add that they seem unwilling to hold the elite accountable. I don’t have an answer, but the democrats have lost me in the last year. If we keep going this way the planet dies and most democrats have moved right after trump won not left.

Okay, so would you rather them fund ice and the destruction of the environment? That bill was barely changed. They conceded. It shows an inability to hold ground because they worry more about re election. If people would hold them accountable we would be better off

I work in a field where I’d be furloughed. I still think it is important to help them accountable. They did the shutdown for show and nothing else. No one even got a payment missed. They opened it back up when that was about to start. It was just for show.

I’m sorry you feel that way. Maybe you need to do some self reflection. I have nothing but love and care for my common citizen. I also want nothing but an end to this evil, but the evil is in both parties. They need to be removed and held accountable or this will happen again.

I love blaming a guy who has stated he voted in every election blue. I’m sorry, but given what I’ve seen from democratic leadership last year. They do not have my vote. Also, the democrats are looking to fund ice too. So maybe it is time to think past the two parties and try to campaign for more

Remember they passed the part in the big beautiful bill that stopped regulation of ai and data centers for ten years. Think of all the environmental issues and social issues we will have by then.

I disagree. I was a Biden supporter. I voted for Kamala, but after seeing how the democrats have handled the last year. I will not vote for a current sitting democrat. Pay attention. They are not trying to hold anyone accountable. What would you have me do except the lesser of two evils. No thanks
