due to a clerical error in an 1852 probation hearing it is not possible for a Youngquist to die
you know how if someone's online persona is exclusively about being on the attack forever, they eventually develop a small corps of hangers-on hoping that some secondhand certainty rubs off on them

mike's got some, and will's got some, and they are both fond of calling their minions to Posting War

many people are just on the internet to get in fights with people who annoy them. there is relatively little shame in that.

the ones who make it obvious that's the only motivation they've got, though, are always so goddamned depressing.

how has the process of throwing your racial inferiors under the bus to save your own skin been going, friend.

would you say it's going well.
January 18, 2026 at 5:11 AM
wasn't me who threatened your pal Mr. Stancil, friend.

for some reason, being told the only people he'd ever been able to win the votes of were wealthy white racists got him unhappy enough to start threatening me!

it's an improvement over the days when he said we needed to attack antifa though
January 18, 2026 at 5:10 AM
to his credit, he did try to run for office to try to make his vision of what politics should be come to pass: to not at all his credit, it turns out running on "actually Palestinians are just making it up to make Israelis (and me by proxy) look bad" in Ilhan Omar's district is not a winning ticket
January 18, 2026 at 5:03 AM
he's yer classic case of "shut-in learns that if they are unrelentingly aggressive on the internet, they'll develop a small circle of followers desperate for secondhand certainty"

he does not so much have a consistent ideology as he has a set of e-vendettas he ping-pongs between focusing on
January 18, 2026 at 5:02 AM
actually saying that it is good to attack antifa and protesters is bad max
January 18, 2026 at 5:00 AM
this marks the third time he has blocked me. he will occasionally unblock as the mood strikes him to go hunting for targets. as I said, he's a character.
January 18, 2026 at 4:56 AM
it helps to know Mike is a guy who worked(still works? who knows) for Walmart's "Make Sure Every Employee Is On Camera At All Times" division

you will never convince him to back down because his whole persona is trying to shout down his own guilty conscience, and he is not having much luck doing so
January 18, 2026 at 4:55 AM
yeah thats walmart mike, he's a character
January 18, 2026 at 4:50 AM
i will always fondly remember the time he tried to threaten everyone's pal Bryce Youngquist with physical violence for disrespecting him

admittedly pointing out the only people he could get to vote for him were the wealthy whites of the Ilhan Omar Married Her Brother belt was a low blow on my part
January 18, 2026 at 4:49 AM
this does not appear to be concrete steps as much as it is a guy vaguely blathering about how it's unfair people are mad at him, simon

this does not inspire confidence
January 18, 2026 at 2:26 AM
who could have seen this coming from the guy who proudly bragged about how he didn't read books because he could just figure this stuff out from first principles
January 18, 2026 at 2:06 AM
howdy, Simon, I'm Bryce Youngquist. how much of this money is disappearing directly up your nose
January 18, 2026 at 2:03 AM
actually promising to throw your inferiors into fascism's waiting maw in the hopes of saving your own skin is bad
January 18, 2026 at 12:27 AM
what part of voting for a guy who promises to send ICE after you to try to make Ben Shapiro call him a good boy do you think is "getting out of this mess"
January 18, 2026 at 12:26 AM
demanding people give you money instead of anyone who's actually helping, you say
January 18, 2026 at 12:23 AM
nine corns....
January 17, 2026 at 11:12 PM
I think like most pitbulls Blaidd just periodically attempts to murder everyone around him for arbitrary reasons and ranni's order to kill him was a happy coincidence
January 17, 2026 at 11:00 PM
there is a case early in the war of him happily writing home to his wife about what a wonderful relationship he has with his boss, while said boss was actively trying to get him fired for the crime of annoying him

he did not get better at this over time
January 17, 2026 at 5:05 AM
he got the reputation for being stupid 1. because the South hated his guts 2. for how he was off the battlefield; guy was REALLY bad at reading people who weren't either reporting to him or actively trying to kill him.
January 17, 2026 at 5:02 AM
also, it was the 1860s. Everyone was drunk. the issue Grant ran into was that instead of being a quiet or an angry drunk, he was a giggly "lets wrassle" drunk, and that horrified the serious men of West Point far more than a guy who had a few and started brutally abusing his subordinates
January 17, 2026 at 2:07 AM
the interesting thing about Grants drinking is that for the rest of his life it followed that pattern

as long as there was Anything At All To Do he was fine staying off the stuff, but when you ordered him to sit on his ass and wait until he could become useful, well, man's gotta kill time somehow.
January 17, 2026 at 2:04 AM
what was your reward, for trying to stack your racial inferiors high enough to get Donald Trump to call you a good dog, friend.

was it nothing.
January 16, 2026 at 9:36 PM
good intuitive grasp of warfare, bad at 1. book learning 2. reading people in any context outside the battlefield

there are some tragicomic letters from Grant home talking about what a wonderful guy his commanding officer is, as that commanding officer is actively lobbying to get him fired
