The point is so that Trump has a US territory to send his political opposition. Every strong man needs a gulag. He doesn’t want his opposition in the US proper once he implements the Insurrection Act.

It’s time Americans realize that the purpose of possessing Greenland is to ensure Trump has a US territory to house all his ‘domestic terrorists’ and political opposition. He has been unable to successfully ‘disappear’ American citizens. Greenland as a US territory solves that problem.

The respect to the ‘why Greenland’ question.. Trump is the only authoritarian that doesn’t have a territory controlled by his military that can hold dissidents and domestic terrorists.. This would be Guantanamo on steroids. Insurrection Act plus a remote gulag effective stops the midterm elections.

The only tweak he will need to do to his model is to hire the doctors as an independent contractor not an employee. Most physicians prefer the flexibility as a contractor to an employee and it integrates them into the rest of the system better.

Can we eventually get to a place of sophistication where the very act of paying ‘more’ taxes is not immediately considered a bad thing?
You can have a problem with how the taxes are spent, but ‘more’ taxes is not an inherently bad thing.

It’s truly dystopian when reopening Alcatraz can be interpreted as progress for this administration. At least they are back to housing American criminals in America.

Yeah. That’s not how it works. The feds can speed up immigration processing for IMGs but credentialing happens in the provinces.
