I told my husband that since he knows me better than anyone, he needs to speak up if I seem odd or fall into any of the symptoms the Dr listed. He’s now stressed that he’s being trapped into calling me crazy 😅

He did, but I’m also open to other advice 🥰

After my appointment I texted my mom asking if she knew of any family members who had mental illnesses. Instead of just saying no, she went on a tirade about how I’m being gaslit by my Dr and that nothing is wrong with me and that anxiety and bi polar “aren’t even real”.
I didn’t even respond. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I told him that my family is part of the ultra conservative “mental illness is all in your head” crowd and if they did they’ve never been diagnosed or medicated.
He started me on lexapro with a close watch as if it’s bipolar, lexapro is a no go but we can’t jump straight into rx for bipolar. 🧵….

The only people who are allowed to talk about politics without being shamed for it are the same people spreading false narratives.. what a coincidence.

Yeah, I usually don't keep my chill and I get told to keep politics out of the workplace and I am like uhhh what you mentioned it first lol

I live in a state where like everywhere you turn ppl are trumpets but most of them are actually really quiet because they are embarrassed to say their hateful feelings out loud.. But my boss is not one of the quiet ones lol

I guess I should add to this. I have made $18/hr + small amt of commissions for the 2 years I have worked here. I will not be offered a raise because he believes I should just work harder to bring up commissions.. I do more customer service than I do sales and the CS takes up a lot of my time..
