Honestly though, agreed about the albums. I blame @50poundnote.com for the fact that I bought the Signals 40th anniversary super deluxe, and I couldn't possible regret the purchase less. 😍

I think they're on record as With Hunt being very much a "let's do lots of cool studio stuff" as opposed to the rest of the album. That's the only thing that makes it stand out for me. As it's own song I enjoy it!

TBH i remember doing that a fair bit - reordering tracklists because I thought they flowed better. In rare cases I dropped one or two songs off an otherwise stellar album (Rush's Moving Pictures, looking at you... "Witch Hunt").

40TB! Nice. I’m not sure how much I’ll need but I’ve got about 1500 CDs in all. I figure I’ll do them in bursts during crappy weather periods though the year. Haven’t decided about movies yet, but I never collected them like I did music

Like many others a bit exhausted with algorithmic listening, I intend to refresh my own library with lossless rips for offline listening in 2026. I should check if my car CD player still works… hmmm. 🤔
